Clothing manufacturing capabilities, from design and patterns to decoration and delivery

A finished garment is the result of many steps, and each step has its own skills. This page gives an overview of the capabilities we arrange for business customers: design and development, patterns, materials, knitting and weaving, dyeing, cutting and sewing, decoration, labelling and packaging, quality checks and logistics. Each is described in more detail on its own page.

The purpose of this overview is to show how the steps connect, because the order matters and a decision made early affects what is possible later. We coordinate the steps so that you deal with one partner, and we say plainly where a step is outside what we do. We sell to business customers only, and made-to-order starts from 50 pieces per style.

Design and development

Development turns an idea into something that can be made. It covers product design, tech packs, pattern making, grading, fit development and sample development. These steps are where most of the decisions are made: what the garment is, how it is built, how it fits across sizes and how it will be made consistently.

Buyers who arrive with a finished tech pack can skip some of this, while those with an idea or a reference garment need more support. We meet you where you are. Our pages on product design, tech packs, pattern making, grading, custom sizing and sample development describe what each step involves and what we need from you.

Materials and yarn

Fabric decides how a garment looks, feels, wears and washes, so material choices come early. Capabilities in this area include material sourcing, yarn sourcing, knitting, weaving, dyeing and custom colour development. We help you choose fabrics that match the product and the budget, and we explain trade-offs in plain terms.

Where you need something specific, such as a particular weight, a blend or a colour, we arrange development accordingly. Our material pages describe the common fabrics and their uses, and our capability pages explain how fabrics are made and coloured.

Cutting and sewing

Cutting and sewing turn fabric into garments. Cutting needs to be accurate and economical, with pieces matched for shade, and sewing needs consistent construction and finishing. For some products, such as leggings and sports tops, seamless knitting offers an alternative route that skips most cutting and sewing.

We arrange cut-and-sew production to your specification, with checks along the way so that problems are caught early. Our cutting, cut-and-sew and seamless pages describe these routes, including where each is the better choice.

Order a physical sample in your fabric and fit. Bulk production starts only after you approve it.

Decoration and finishing

Decoration adds branding or design, and finishing changes how the garment feels. Decoration options include screen printing, direct to garment printing, DTF, sublimation, heat transfer, embroidery, appliqué and patches. Finishing includes washing and garment finishing treatments.

No single decoration method is right for everything. The right choice depends on the artwork, the fabric, the quantity and the use of the garment. We recommend a method for each job and tell you when another would serve better. Our decoration pages describe each method and its limits.

Labels, tags and packaging

A garment becomes a product when it carries your name. Private labelling, hangtags, barcodes and custom packaging are the details that make that happen, and they also carry the information required for sale. These steps are easy to leave late, but they affect the whole presentation of the product.

We plan labels, tags and packaging together with the garment, so that everything arrives consistent and ready for the next step, whether that is a shelf, a warehouse or a customer's door. Our pages on private labelling, hangtags and barcodes and custom packaging describe the options.

Quality, testing and logistics

Quality assurance, inspection, laboratory testing coordination and logistics make sure the order that was agreed is the order that arrives. Quality assurance starts with a clear specification and approved sample. Inspection checks finished goods. Laboratory testing provides evidence of properties that cannot be judged by eye. Logistics covers shipping, documents and delivery, and warehouse pickup and EU distribution covers ready stock.

These steps are not an afterthought. We plan them with you at the start, so that expectations are clear and evidence is available when needed. Each has its own page with more detail.

If you are unsure where your project starts, tell us what you already have: a sketch, a reference garment, a tech pack or blank garments. We will show you which steps apply.

Where to start

If you are not sure which capability you need, describe your product and your goal, and we will recommend where to begin. Made-to-order starts from 50 pieces per style, and ready stock is available from 1 piece. We respond in writing, and we will say clearly if something is outside what we do. We sell to business customers only.
