Tall neat stacks of plain black, white and heather grey T-shirts arranged by colour on a long steel table

Promotional runs usually favour speed and low minimums over full custom development: heat transfer or DTF printing on stock garments gets a branded product moving without a full production lead time.

Promotional apparel that people keep and wear

Most promotional items end up in a drawer. Apparel is different: a good t-shirt, hoodie or cap is worn, seen and talked about, and that is why it remains one of the most effective ways to carry a brand into everyday life. The condition is that people actually want to wear it. A thin, badly cut shirt with a large logo goes in the bin. A soft, well-fitting garment with a tasteful print gets worn for years.

We supply garments for agencies, promotional product companies, decorators and businesses that run campaigns. This page explains how to choose blanks, plan decoration and order in sensible quantities, and how our ready stock helps when a campaign has a short deadline.

Who we supply in this market

Promotional buyers fall into a few groups, and each has different needs.

  • Promotional product agencies who source garments for clients.
  • Print shops and decorators who need reliable blank garments.
  • Companies running staff, customer or event campaigns.
  • Associations, clubs and organisations with members to equip.
  • Resellers who add their own decoration and supply on.

If you are an agency or a decorator, consistent blanks matter most. If you are an end customer, the garment and the print quality matter most.

Choose the blank first, then the decoration

The garment decides how the finished product feels. Fabric weight, cut, collar, softness and colour range all affect whether a promotional garment is worn. Heavier cotton feels more substantial, lighter blends feel comfortable in summer, and fleece suits cooler seasons.

We help you pick a blank that suits your audience and budget, and we supply size runs that fit real people, not only models. If you are decorating, tell us the method, because fabric and colour influence print results: a smooth cotton jersey suits screen print and DTG, while some blends need a different approach.

Decoration methods and when to use each

The right decoration method depends on quantity, artwork and the garment.

  1. 01

Screen print is economical for larger runs of simple artwork and gives strong colour.

  2. 02

DTG suits detailed or photographic artwork in small quantities.

  3. 03

DTF and heat transfer suit multi-colour artwork on varied fabrics and small to medium runs.

  4. 04

Embroidery gives a premium look on polos, caps and jackets and lasts through washing.

  5. 05

Sublimation suits polyester and all-over designs.

If you do not decorate yourself, we can arrange decoration as part of the order and show a sample before bulk.

Ordering in quantities that match the campaign

Promotional campaigns vary from a handful of pieces for a team to thousands for an event. Made-to-order runs start from 50 pieces per style, and ready stock in Germany lets you buy from 1 piece, which is useful for samples, prototypes and small campaigns.

Size distribution deserves attention. A typical group skews towards medium and large, but a balanced run avoids running out of sizes. We can suggest a size split based on your audience, and we keep your approved sample so repeat orders match.

Working to a deadline

Campaigns often have a fixed date, and clothing that arrives late is clothing that is wasted. The surest way to protect a deadline is to decide the garment early and confirm the artwork before the order.

For tight timing, ready stock in Germany avoids a production wait for plain garments that you or a decorator can print. Exact timing is agreed in the written quote, so your plan rests on a written confirmation. If your date is fixed, tell us at the start and we will say plainly what is realistic.

Compliance, labelling and safety for promotional garments

Garments sold or given away in the European market must meet rules on labelling and safety, including composition labelling and limits on certain substances. Children's items are examined particularly closely.

If your campaign includes children's sizes, or you need test evidence for a client, tell us at the start. We will confirm what we can document and coordinate laboratory testing where a report is needed. We never imply that a garment has passed a test that has not been run on it.

Common questions about promotional apparel

Buyers of promotional apparel first ask which decoration pays off for which quantity. For large quantities with few colours, screen printing is economical. For small quantities with several colours or designs, direct printing or DTF suits. For names and numbers, heat transfer, and for a premium impression, embroidery. Second, buyers ask about the fabric: a cheap, thin shirt can look good printed but feels light and lasts less, while a slightly heavier piece is worn longer and represents the brand better. Third is sizes: a wide size range prevents pieces from being left over or missing.

We also recommend starting with a sample and approving the artwork before the run starts. If you give promotional apparel away, remember that a piece people like to wear keeps the brand visible for longer. Tell us the audience, the quantity and the artwork, and we will suggest garment, fabric and decoration.

Request a quote and a sample

Send us your quantity, your garment idea, your decoration method and your date. We will respond in writing with options and a sample plan. A quote and a sample cost nothing to request and show you exactly what your audience will wear before you commit to a run.
