What a buyer worries about before ordering clothing

Buying clothing from a manufacturer you have not used before carries real worries. Will the sample match the bulk? Will the quote hold? Will the garment fit? Will anyone answer when something goes wrong? Will you be locked into a quantity you cannot sell?

Most of these worries are about risk and about information. A supplier can reduce both, but only by building the answers into how the work is done, not by promising them in a brochure.

This page sets out the reasons buyers choose to work with Daylo Casuals, in terms you can check for yourself.

Everything that matters is in writing

Verbal promises disappear. Written ones can be checked. That is why every important step in our process is confirmed in writing.

  • The quote states the fabric, the sizes, the decoration and the price per piece.
  • The specification and tolerances are recorded against the approved sample.
  • Label positions, packaging and delivery details are agreed before sampling.
  • Inspection results are shared before the goods ship.

A written record protects both sides. If memories differ later, there is a document to return to, and a reorder can be made against the same references as the first order.

You approve a real sample before bulk

The biggest source of regret in clothing orders is approving something you have only seen in a photograph. Our process removes that.

We make a physical sample in your fabric and fit and send it to you. You try it, wash it, check the stitching and the labels, and either approve it or ask for changes. Bulk production starts only after you approve. During production and at inspection, the finished garments are compared with that approved sample.

A quantity that fits a real first order

Production starts from 50 pieces per style per colour. That is low enough for a new brand to place a first order without committing to thousands of units, and high enough to be a real product rather than a sample run.

If you want to test before producing, we also hold ready garments in our German warehouse, orderable by businesses from 1 piece, with live quantities per size and colour. That is a lower-risk way to try a design, a colour or a market.

You can move between the two routes as your brand grows: stock to test, white label to launch, private label or custom production when you are ready to own the design.

One contact, from the first message to delivery

Clothing production involves many people: pattern makers, cutters, sewers, finishers, packers and inspectors. Dealing with all of them yourself is a job in itself.

With us, one contact follows your order from the first message to delivery. You do not have to coordinate the chain or chase different people for one answer. Questions get one reply, in writing, and the answer is the same whoever you ask.

That sounds simple, and it is one of the most valued things buyers tell suppliers they want: a person who knows the order and can answer for it.

Consistency across orders and across sizes

A single good garment is easy. A hundred garments that match, and a reorder next season that matches the first, is where manufacturing is tested.

We keep your approved pattern, measurements and colour standard on file, so a reorder can be made against the same references. We grade your pattern across the whole size range so proportions hold from the smallest to the largest. Fabric dyed in different lots can differ slightly, so we compare new fabric with the approved sample before cutting.

If your garment must match another garment or a previous order, say so in the brief, and we pay particular attention.

Honest about what we can and cannot do

A supplier who says yes to everything is a supplier who surprises you later. We would rather tell you plainly what is possible.

If an idea needs more development before it suits private label, we say so. If a quantity is too small for a particular fabric or construction, we say so and suggest an alternative, such as stock or a white label base style. If your customers require a certain standard or test, we confirm in writing whether the specification can meet it before making a sample.

Plain answers early cost a little awkwardness. Surprises late cost the order.

Start with a quote and a sample

The easiest way to judge a supplier is to see how they handle a small request. Send us what you have: a sketch, a reference garment, a tech pack or just a description of the product and the customer.

We reply in writing with what we would need to quote accurately. A quote and a sample are small, reversible steps that give you real information about cost, fabric and finish before any bulk decision, and they tell you quickly whether we are the right partner.
