Clothing manufacturing services, from first idea to finished garments

Daylo works with business customers who need garments made to their own specification, as well as those who need ready stock quickly. This page is the overview of how those services fit together. It explains what each service is for, how they differ, which one suits which kind of buyer and how to move from a first enquiry to a confirmed order.

Buyers often arrive with a goal rather than a service name. They want a first collection, a better supplier for an existing product, a uniform programme, or a few hundred garments by a certain event. We start from that goal and recommend the route that fits, which is not always the most elaborate one. We sell to business customers only.

Two lines that work together

Our work falls into two lines, and many customers use both over time.

  • Made-to-order garments produced to your specification, including private label, white label, custom, OEM and ODM work. It starts from 50 pieces per style.
  • Ready stock garments held in our German warehouse, currently 44,953 pieces across 28 styles, available from 1 piece.

The two lines solve different problems. Made-to-order gives you a product you own. Ready stock gives you speed and the ability to test before committing. We explain the difference at the start, so that you do not pay for flexibility you do not need or wait for production when stock would do.

Private label, white label and custom

These three terms are used loosely, so it helps to define them. Private label means garments made to your design or specification, sold under your brand. White label means an existing product from a supplier, sold under your brand with your label on it. Custom means garments developed from your idea, often from sketches, references or a tech pack.

The difference matters because it changes how much development is involved. White label is the quickest route to a branded product. Private label and custom take more preparation but give you something distinct. Our service pages describe each in detail, and we help you choose based on your timeline and ambition.

OEM and ODM

OEM means original equipment manufacturing: you provide the design and we produce it. ODM means original design manufacturing: we provide a design or base product that you adapt and brand. Many buyers move between the two. A new brand may start with ODM to get to market, then move to OEM as its own designs mature.

We explain what each involves, who owns what and how development works, so that you know where you stand before committing. Our OEM and ODM page covers this in full, including how samples, specifications and approvals work.

Services for different kinds of buyer

Different buyers need different support, and we shape the service accordingly.

  1. 01

Start-ups and new brands help with specifications, small first runs and a clear path to a repeat order.

  2. 02

Established brands consistency across seasons, reliable reorders and a supplier that follows specifications.

  3. 03

Corporate and uniform buyers durable garments that match across sites and reorders.

  4. 04

Retailers and wholesalers ready stock and private label ranges with consistent sizing and labels.

Our services for start-ups and our wholesale stock pages describe the two most common starting points in detail.

From enquiry to confirmed order

The path from enquiry to order is simple, and we try to keep it that way.

  1. 01

You tell us what you need, the quantity and any deadline.

  2. 02

We reply in writing with a recommended route and the information we need.

  3. 03

We agree a specification, which covers fabric, construction, measurements, decoration and labels.

  4. 04

A sample is made and approved.

  5. 05

The order is confirmed, and production is planned.

For ready stock, the path is shorter: choose styles and quantities, confirm availability and arrange pickup or shipping.

What sits behind the services

Our services draw on a wide set of capabilities, which we describe on separate pages. These include design and development, pattern making, material sourcing, cutting and sewing, decoration, labelling, quality checks and logistics. We coordinate these steps so that you deal with one partner, not many.

You can also use us for part of the chain, such as decoration on blanks or sample development, if that is all you need. Our capabilities, materials and product pages explain what is possible, and we tell you plainly where something is outside what we do.

We also record specifications, samples and approvals in writing, so that progress is easy to follow.

Start with a conversation

Tell us what you are trying to achieve, and we will recommend the service that fits. Made-to-order starts from 50 pieces per style, and ready stock is available from 1 piece. We respond in writing, and we will say clearly if another route would serve you better. We sell to business customers only.
