Everyday apparel is where repeat orders come from

T-shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies, polos, joggers and basic trousers are the garments people buy again and again. They are also the garments where small differences in fabric, cut and finish decide whether a customer returns. A t-shirt that keeps its shape after thirty washes builds a brand. One that twists and fades loses it.

This page is a guide to everyday apparel for business buyers: brands building a core range, retailers and wholesalers restocking basics, and businesses equipping teams. It explains what to decide, what to ask a supplier and how we produce these garments from 50 pieces per style, with ready stock in Germany available from 1 piece.

The core categories and what to look for

Each category has its own quality signals, and knowing them helps you judge a sample.

  • T-shirts fabric weight, collar rib that holds its shape, stable side seams and shrinkage control.
  • Sweatshirts and hoodies brushed back, even knit, strong stitching at cuffs and hem and a hood that sits properly.
  • Polos collar that does not curl, placket construction and a fabric that resists pilling.
  • Joggers stable waistband, cuff elasticity and fabric that does not bag at the knee.
  • Basic trousers fit through the seat and thigh, pocket construction and a fabric that keeps its crease or shape.

We can show you these details in a sample and explain our choices.

Fabric weight and fibre decide the feel

Fabric weight, measured in grams per square metre, is the quickest guide to how a garment feels and wears. A lighter t-shirt drapes and breathes. A heavier one feels substantial and holds its shape. Fleece and French terry have their own weight ranges, and the right one depends on season and use.

Fibre matters just as much. Cotton is soft and breathable. Polyester adds durability and quick drying. Blends combine the two. Our material pages describe each fibre and where it fits. If you are unsure, send us a reference garment and we will propose a fabric to match the feel.

Fit is a design decision, not a size chart

The same size label can fit very differently depending on the block, the fabric stretch and the intended style. Regular, relaxed, oversized and slim are choices, and each needs its own pattern and grading.

We help you set measurements for each size, then check the sample against your reference. If your customers are mixed in age and shape, a relaxed regular fit is often the safest foundation. If you are targeting streetwear or a fashion audience, a boxier cut with a dropped shoulder may be right. Grading across sizes is checked so that a medium and an extra large look like the same garment, scaled.

Colour, dyeing and consistency

Basics sell in a few reliable colours: black, white, navy, grey and a handful of seasonal accents. Colour consistency matters more for basics than for fashion pieces, because customers buy them in multiples and notice mismatches.

We agree colours against your reference and record the lot, so a reorder matches the earlier run as closely as dyeing allows. Where small variation between lots is natural, we tell you in advance. Dark colours need particular attention to colour fastness, and we discuss it with you for your chosen fabric.

Branding basics: labels, prints and packaging

A basic becomes your product through a few details.

  1. 01

A woven or printed neck label with your brand and size.

  2. 02

A care and composition label that meets requirements for your markets.

  3. 03

A logo or print by screen print, DTG, DTF, heat transfer or embroidery.

  4. 04

Hangtags and barcodes if you sell at retail.

  5. 05

Polybags or boxes in your format.

We can supply all of these as part of the order, so goods arrive ready to sell. If you want an unbranded garment for your own labelling, we also produce white label.

Made-to-order and ready stock work together

For the core range, made-to-order from 50 pieces per style gives you your own fit, fabric and label. For fast needs, tests and top-ups, ready stock in Germany lets you buy from 1 piece, with live availability on the stock page and a written quote confirming what is available.

Buyers who combine both usually carry less risk: a small first run to test, reorders to scale and stock to cover gaps. If you are new to this, start with a single style and see how it sells.

Start with the sample

Tell us the category, the fabric feel you want, your fit reference and your quantity. We will respond in writing with a suggested route and a sample plan. A sample costs little and answers the questions a spec sheet cannot. We sell to business customers only.
