Clothing supply for European markets, with stock in Germany and made-to-order production

Selling garments across Europe means dealing with different languages, labelling expectations, VAT rules and customs situations, depending on where your customers are. This page is the overview of the markets we supply: Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, the Benelux countries, Italy, Spain, Poland, the Nordic countries, the United Kingdom and other European countries.

Each market has its own page with the points that matter for it. This overview explains what is common across them, what changes at a border and how our two lines, made-to-order and ready stock from Germany, work for buyers in different countries. We sell to business customers only.

Two lines, many destinations

Our two lines work across all of these markets.

  • Made-to-order private label, white label and custom garments produced to your specification, starting from 50 pieces per style.
  • Ready stock garments held in our German warehouse, currently 44,953 pieces across 28 styles, available from 1 piece.

Made-to-order suits a collection or a repeat product, wherever it will be sold. Ready stock suits testing a style, topping up a line or meeting a need that cannot wait for production. We explain the difference at the start, so that you choose the route that fits the job.

Inside the EU: simpler, but not identical

For buyers in other EU countries, shipments from Germany do not pass through customs, and special VAT rules can apply for business-to-business supplies when a valid VAT number is provided. Fibre composition labelling follows common EU rules. This makes the EU the simplest part of the picture.

It is not identical everywhere, though. Languages differ, some countries have their own additional rules on consumer information, and buyers have different expectations. Our country pages describe these points, and we recommend that you confirm the details for your product and channel.

Outside the EU: extra steps

Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Norway and Iceland are outside the EU. Goods shipped to them pass through customs on leaving the EU and on entering the destination country, and import taxes and duties may apply. A clear commercial invoice, a packing list and an agreed delivery term are essential.

We prepare documents carefully and share the facts we hold about the goods to support your declaration. We are not customs or tax advisers, so we recommend that you confirm duties, VAT and other charges with your own broker or adviser. Our logistics and export page explains terms of delivery in general.

Language and labelling

Labels and product information are usually expected in the language of the market, and some markets, such as Belgium and Switzerland, use several languages. Care symbols follow a common international system, and fibre composition must be stated according to local rules.

We help you draft label content in the languages you sell in, and we point out what normally needs to be included. We are not legal advisers, so we recommend that you confirm the requirements for your specific product, especially for children's clothing or products with special claims. Our private labelling page describes the steps.

What changes by buyer type

Within every market, different buyers need different things. Online sellers care about consistent sizing and parcel-friendly packing. Fashion brands care about fabric, finish and detail. Hospitality and workwear buyers care about durability and consistency across reorders. Retailers care about labels, barcodes and carton marking.

We adapt the process to the buyer, not only to the country. Our industry pages describe the needs of each type of buyer, and our country pages describe how those needs meet local conditions.

How to use the right country page

Read the page for the country your goods will be delivered to and, if you sell in several countries, those of the others too. The country pages describe typical buyers, language and labelling, shipping of stock, VAT and documents. They do not replace advice from your tax or customs adviser, but they show which questions to settle before you order.

It helps to note three things in advance: the destination country, the importer with its VAT number and the delivery term you want. With these details, we can prepare invoice, packing list and shipping route cleanly. If you sell a product in several countries, we plan multilingual labels straight away instead of rebuilding later. We reply in writing and say clearly where a market has special points that we cannot judge conclusively.

Other European countries and next steps

If your country is not listed, we can still supply it. The same principles apply: we confirm whether the destination is inside or outside the EU, the language of the label, the delivery term and the documents needed. Tell us where the goods are going and who will handle import.

Tell us what you need: the product, the quantity, whether it is made-to-order or from stock, the destination and when you need it. We will respond in writing with the next step. Made-to-order starts from 50 pieces per style, and stock is available from 1 piece. We sell to business customers only.
